2025 KCIS Celebrity Talk: Winter Session with Kevin Atlas
Kevin Atlas joined the 2025 KCIS Celebrity Talk last week. The NCAA star shared his inspiring story with our students. He also played a friendly game with the school basketball team to end the day.
Last week, the Campus Celebrity Lecture Series was honored to welcome Kevin Atlas, the first NCAA Division I basketball player with a disability, to share his inspiring life story. With sincerity and strength, Kevin encouraged students to pursue their dreams courageously and never give up.
Through his own experiences, Kevin spoke about finding strength in adversity, embracing challenges, and believing that “Dreams Are Possible.” He reminded everyone not only to work hard for their own dreams but also to become a source of support for others in achieving theirs.
To conclude the event, Kevin joined the Kang Chiao basketball team for an exciting friendly match. The gym was filled with cheers and applause, bringing this passionate and heartwarming lecture to a perfect close!
