2025 KCIS Bike Training: Winter G10 Opening and Safety Skills

Early last Sunday morning, we held the opening ceremony and first training session for the G10 Bike Around Taiwan program. Students gathered neatly in the gymnasium, carrying anticipation and determination in their eyes as they officially embarked on this journey of growth. During the ceremony, Principal Wen reminded everyone that every practice must be approached with the utmost rigor in order to build solid skills throughout the training process and lay a safe foundation for the future challenge of cycling around Taiwan.

The first training session was conducted through station-based instruction, covering equipment usage, safety checks, road safety and traffic signals, and more. These activities helped students recognize the many details involved in cycling and outdoor activities, strengthening their safety awareness and operational skills. Up next, on December 13, the second training session will take place—also marking the students’ first official on-road practice. We look forward to seeing each student demonstrate focus, composure, and effort as they move step by step toward their dream of completing the island ride.
