2026 KCIS Cycling: Winter Training Challenges for G10 Students
G10 students completed their second 2026 KCIS Cycling training last weekend. The northeast monsoon brought damp and cold weather to northern Taiwan. Students faced slippery roads during their first official group ride. This challenge improved their response to complex road conditions. Everyone learned the importance of teamwork and discipline. The third training session will take place on January 10. We encourage students to strengthen their fitness for the longer route ahead.
Last weekend, as the northeast monsoon moved southward, northern Taiwan was shrouded in damp and cold weather, and the roads were especially slippery due to rainfall. Nevertheless, under the school’s careful arrangements, the G10 students completed their second cycling training—the first time the entire group officially rode on the road. Facing the challenge of weather on their first real ride, the students quickly improved their ability to respond to complex road conditions and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of teamwork and discipline.
The third cycling training is scheduled for January 10 next year, with a longer route. Students are encouraged to make good use of their after-school time to continue strengthening their physical fitness and prepare thoroughly for the upcoming training sessions.
