Chinese Reorganization 2024: Grade 7 New Poetic Creations
During the Chinese Reorganization 2024 project, Grade 7 students creatively transformed ancient poems into original modern compositions by rearranging words and collaborating on dynamic posters, revealing the exciting potential of innovative Chinese language learning.
The Chinese language curriculum in Grade 7 is particularly unique.
Through the ancient poems that students have previously learned, everyone uses the technique of “reorganization” to create new poems that are not only coherent in context and complete in structure but rename and shape the style of the poems, completing a modern new poem that belongs to themselves!
In class, everyone collaborates to cut the words of the poems one by one, working together to use their imagination to rearrange the words and post them on a poster, giving the text a different life.
At the end of the course, students also take the stage to share the new poems after reorganization, regardless of whether they belong to the realism of society or the landscape and pastoral genres.
It turns out that learning Chinese can be so interesting!
