2024 Grade 12 Chinese Honors: Migrant Workers in Literature
At Kang Chiao International School Xiugang Campus, the Grade 12 Chinese Language Literature (Honors) course integrated humanistic literacy and international perspectives through a collaborative project. Guided by teachers Terence Guo, Jone Tseng, Sanders Liu, and Bear Shaw, students explored Taiwan’s migrant workers from a literary perspective, opening new pathways to cultural understanding.
The Grade 12 Chinese Language Literature (Honors) course at Kang Chiao International School Xiugang Campus successfully integrates humanistic literacy and international perspectives into students’ learning processes through an educationally meaningful project-based teaching activity, helping them open the door to understanding different cultures.
Planned collaboratively by teachers Terence Guo , Jone Tseng, Sanders Liu, and Bear Shaw, the project leads students to explore the issue of foreign migrant workers in Taiwan from a literary perspective
