2025 KCIS iGEM Gold: Winter Paris Grand Jamboree Success
The Xiugang team earned the 2025 KCIS iGEM Gold in Paris recently. Students spent months on experiments and research. This journey turned them into great problem-solvers for a better world.
The Xiugang Campus iGEM team, consisting of 25 students and 2 teachers, recently traveled to Paris to participate in the globally renowned 2025 iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition). Yesterday, they proudly brought home the Gold Medal! 
At the 2025 iGEM Grand Jamboree in Paris, the Xiugang iGEM team brought home the gold—but what they truly gained was far more than a medal.
Through months of setbacks, experiments, and breakthroughs, these students transformed scientific inquiry into a shared language of perseverance, collaboration, and purpose. In their pursuit of solutions, they grew not only as future scientists, but as thoughtful problem-solvers ready to shape a better world.
